Identify, acquire, design, and develop large-scale analytical instrumentation and research infrastructures of strategic interdepartmental interest within the University of Pisa.
Provide faculty members with access to analytical laboratories and infrastructures for research and education, while offering dedicated technical support.
Create and manage networks of existing university analytical laboratories to ensure seamless access for all faculty members, as well as continuous upgrades and development.
Promote laboratory accreditation in compliance with EU Regulation 765/2008.
Foster and coordinate interdisciplinary research projects and services aimed at designing and developing novel experimental and analytical techniques, including the training and professional development of technical staff.
Organize and support master’s programs, summer schools, workshops, seminars, symposia, and study grants focused on CISUP’s core research themes.
Support University of Pisa education programs by providing practical laboratory sessions and traineeships.
Facilitate the dissemination of research results generated at CISUP’s analytical facilities.
Promote and coordinate collaborative research with other universities, research institutes, local administrations, and industry partners at both national and international levels.
